Visual Basic
Visual Basic development experience dates back to 1994 during the Windows 3.1 era. Development expertise includes 16 bit and 32 bit Windows applications, ActiveX controls and DLLs, and IIS server side components and filters (web service components). Applications have been developed for both client and server tiers. Projects have been completed incorporating database integration with both Microsoft Access and Oracle database products. Several projects have been completed involving interaction with TCP/IP (Internet) protocols. Experience with all versions from 3.0 upwards (including the newest .NET 2003 version). Some of the SparTech Software shareware applications, including the award winning Keyboard Capers, were developed using Visual Basic.
