Database Technologies

Over the years, I have amassed a large amount of experience with several database technologies including IMS, VSAM, DB2, Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, and Oracle DBMS. Experience ranges from interfacing with third party languages and packages to development of SQL packages, procedures, and functions. I also have expertise administering databases. Microsoft Access experience includes many client/server applications developed using MS Access forms as front ends as well as interfaces using Visual Basic and C/C++.

Oracle experience includes maintenance of existing database objects as well as development of new database objects. Experience with Oracle applications products includes maintenance, debugging, and installation of applications and database objects. Have been involved with implementations/installations (acting as the technical lead) of Oracle versions 7.0 and upwards (including use of the web facilities in versions 8i/9i, 10g).
